How Good Karma Kitchen Was Born…
My name is Janeeka, and I run a small business called Good Karma Kitchen. We serve delicious plant-based Indian street food and have recently completed a seven-month renovation of a brand-new food truck.
I learned to love cooking from my Baa (gran), who effortlessly adapted her recipes when I became vegan at 15. After she passed away, I graduated from university and chose to pursue my passion; as a keen vegan baker, I launched a plant-based cake business for various occasions. My long-term ambition has always been to operate a food truck that brings vegan hot street food to the public.
Early this year, I used all my savings to buy a food truck that required extensive work. With my dad’s help, we transformed it into my vision, and Good Karma Kitchen was born. We offer 100% plant-based vegan Indian street food, specialising in samosa chaat and chaat-loaded masala fries, which are always popular. A simple, vegan menu lets us serve great food quickly and to more people. We can also supply curry boxes for certain events. Our food truck suits festivals, markets, corporate events and more. Customers give excellent feedback and want us at other locations. We would love the chance to trade at any of your events. You can now find our food at our new premises in Northfields, London, making the Good Karma Kitchen food mo re accessible to our customers.
